"EUROPEAN SHOWRUNNER PROGRAMME (ESP) Recognising the immense potential of the new creative process and innovative business model ""showrunning,"" the European Showrunner Programme (ESP) aims to contribute to the establishment of a sustainable, truly European showrunner model. The EUROPEAN SHOWRUNNER THINK TANK addresses common misconceptions about the showrunner model, promotes a clearer understanding of its benefits and engages key stakeholders – producers, broadcasters, directors, and distributors – in collaborative efforts to build a sustainable European approach that benefits all parties involved in series production. 3. The EUROPEAN SHOWRUNNER NETWORK provides a robust professional network that promotes continuous exchange and structured peer support among emerging and established showrunners throughout Europe. "
