Description | The European Solar Manufacturing Council (ESMC) and SolarPower Europe (SPE) are urging EU leaders to adopt additional measures to support and expand solar photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing in Europe. This includes a call for a European PV Industry 2030 Action Plan, revision of EU public procurement rules to prioritize EU content, establishment of a new Cleantech Manufacturing Fund, expansion of temporary operational support to prevent factory closures, and increased role for the European Investment Bank in financing. |
