Description

Description

Today there exist a global shared concern on the insecurity/terrorism, migration and climate change which calls for joint efforts. This implies that partnership, cooperation and more regional integration are becoming increasingly desirable to combat the mentioned challenges. It is in this regard that a module on European Studies leading to micro-sociological facts on European integration is thought of. The module aims to promote learning from strengths and opportunities that would assist in appreciating the benefit of long relationship and partnership as well as that of regional integration both for EU and African scholars. Why are EU Studies underrepresented in African universities, is a temptation for this module to bridge the gape. Due to historical background, there exist stereotypes which have been hindering the abilities to learn beyond their circles. therefore, students and young scholars need to bee offered a platform for discussion on the EU-Africa relation, collaboration and learning opportunities especially on some success stories of the European Union, This module aims at creating such framework.
