European Union Trade and Investment Module

The European Union Trade and Investment Module (EU TRaIN Module) deals with the role of the European Union in the globalised world through the treatment of general and specific EU topics, with particular emphasis on the EU position as the most significant player on the global trading scene, the top international foreign direct investment (FDI) destination and the largest investor to other countries, the world's largest exporter and the leading job creator in trade. Especially incentive to the module gives the fact that the European Union is the most important trading and investment partner of the Republic of Serbia. By promoting active European citizenship, highlighting the EU common values, raising awareness of the EU and the visibility of all the EU's efforts and intentions, the module will contribute to sustainable growth and strengthen social cohesion, driving and disseminating innovation with the strengthening of the European identity and the role of the EU in the global environment. By introducing the EU TRaIN Module, the Novi Sad School of Business (NSSB) will provide quality education to students of all ages and young people from vulnerable groups through acquaintance with the values of the European Union. The module will encourage students to become active participants in democratic life, involved in civil society activities respecting common EU values and apply the acquired knowledge about the European Union. The EU TRaIN Module's key objective is to implement innovative teaching programmes (Introduction to the EU (45 teaching hours and approximate 40 students per year) and EU Trade and Investment (56 teaching hours and approximate 30 students per year)) and research methods within the European Union studies to support young people's educational, professional, and personal development and all other participants in the learning process.
