European Values of Intercultural Dialogue in the Field of Education: Interdisciplinary and Inclusive Approaches

The module “European Values of Intercultural Dialogue in the field of education: Interdisciplinary and Inclusive Approaches” (EUROVALID) covers the activities, which are aimed at the implementation, development and dissemination of the European Union values into Ukrainian society through formal and non-formal education. The primary target of the EUROVALID module is values formation of solidarity, intercultural communication on the ground of democratic, humane and non-violent communication in a multicultural educational space, taking into account European integration processes. It is based on the implementation of European praxes, innovative methods of developing intercultural communication competencies as a form of social partnership of secondary and higher education students. An interdisciplinary approach (knowledge of philosophy, sociology, linguistics and other social sciences) is taken into account. The module covers such activities as: 1) Teaching (Module curriculum informs about the teaching of European values such as democracy, tolerance, social integrity, gender equality using lectures, seminars, summer schools, workshops, training and intensive courses, distance learning courses), 2) Deliverables (didactic materials, learning tool, virtual educational platform, website of science laboratory, collective monograph of the publication united by a common idea of the results of its research published in the EU Publishing, 3) Social cultural events and science meetings (conferences of young scientists, webinars, roundtables, virtual classes). For the achievement of this purpose there are such events –1 international conference and 1 international summer school camping and create International Hub for tolerance communication. Also there are some teaching activities – training courses, webinars in the science laboratory “Ukr.Lang.Laboratory for foreign students” and educational science platform «EU Cross-Cultural Studies».
