Description | HyOrc Corporation has entered into a binding project development and technology agreement with Bulgaria-based OnEnergy Group to develop a waste-to-methanol facility. The project will process approximately 50,000 tonnes of Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) per annum, operating about 330 days a year, with a daily throughput of 150-155 tonnes. It aims to produce approximately 38-42 tonnes of green methanol per day. The facility is part of a broader integrated waste-to-energy platform aligned with EU priorities for decarbonisation, circular economy, and landfill diversion. HyOrc will be the technology partner for Stage 3, focusing on thermochemical conversion of RDF into green methanol and will lead technical preparations for project progression through European industrial development pathways including the EU Innovation Fund. |
