In the edition of EWoS-2021, the High Council for Sports (CSD) will once again function as the National Coordinator in Spain. Within the CSD the task will be assumed by the International Relations Unit. Intense cooperation has been implemented between the different Sub-directorates and the experience and lessons learned during previous years are being adequately transmitted. The planned agenda for EWOS 2021 in Spain has been decided after a careful analysis of the previous experience and the and the state of the pandemic expected for September. We have opted for a less ambitious approach in terms of the level of participation that we usually propose, considering only massive face-to-face events under the direct control of the CSD, taking into account the circumstances that, despite the possible vaccination of a significant part of the population, are expected to still occur during the celebration of EWOS-2021. On the other hand, we will promote the sport and healthy physical activity and healthy habits through social networks, promoting the activity of sport influencers and healthy physical activity on different platforms and through actions of small and controlled groups. We want to recognize the very important work that the Social Networks and the influencers of Healthy Physical Activity have developed during the harsh times of confinement and restriction imposed by the pandemic for so many months, offering an alternative to the population that has allowed them to remain active in such painful circumstances. The events to be developed in this SED-21 will be aligned with the HealthyLifestyle4All initiative that the EU will launch in September.
