European Week of Sport in Poland 2022-2023

"The Polish Ministry of Sport and Tourism is the National Coordinating Body for the EWoS in Poland, held from 23rd till 30th of September 2022 and 2023. Activities under the EWoS 2022-2023 will focus on a broad, grass-roots activation of the Polish society. Our goal is to ensure the high level of participation in sport and physical activity in Poland. Our initiative aims to promote visibility for the EWoS idea through centrally-developed #BeActive campaign and to spread the message all over the country. When creating the EWoS 2022-2023 organization we have based on three main pillars: First of them is organization of the main event which will be organized during the weekend of 24th-25th of September 2022 and 23 th-24th of September 2023. The sport activities during the event will be dedicated mostly to the following target groups: children, youth, elderly people, people with disabilities. The second pillar is creation of the network of local and regional events, that will be organized under the name of the European Week of Sport. To ensure the transparency in organized events (map of events) for which we are planning to create on-line EWoS registration platform that will be available on the dedicated website (www.etspolska.gov.pl). The first 150-200 events, promoting the EWoS 2022-2023 and registered at the EWoS website, organized in the period from 23rd till 30th of September will be provided with a set of promotional materials. The website will also be a platform for dissemination of current information, raising awareness and public understanding about the benefits of regular physical activity. Our last pillar refers to the media campaign that will strengthen the promotion of the #BeActive idea. Thanks to the use of various channels (social media, media channels, website) we will be able to promote widely the concept of the EWoS 2022-2023 and to encourage people to be active and to participate in events organized under the umbrella of the EWoS in Poland."
