European Youth Dialogue in Finland 2022-24

"This application relates to the 9th and 10th cycles of the European Youth Dialogue. It is a very welcomed change to the procedures that the funding will be applied for three years as it gives more stability to the national organisations to carry out their work. At the same time it makes it rather difficult to write down detailed plans for the next three years as we have quite a clear idea of the theme and activities of the 9th cycle but absolutely no idea of the topics to be discussed during the 10th cycle. However, we are delighted for the theme of the 9th cycle and also about the different actions and activities planned and sent to us in the beginning of November. We believe that the themes of the two Youth Goals (#3 and #10) are very important for Europe we are living in today and crucial for young people and their future. As far as the 10 th cycle is concerned the plans presented in this application may not be very detailed But we have a solid experience on the Youth Dialogue (or Structured Dialoge) for more than 10 years, and we are convinced that whatever the theme will be, we will be able to organise a youth-led process that will bring out good results. At the moment, we have launched the call for the new National Working Group, and it will be appointed by our board later in December. We have already several ideas for the 9th cycle, but of course we want to give the chance to the new NWG to bring in their own ideas and suggestions. We will certainly follow the different steps (national consultations, EU Youth Conferences, different events at all levels, implementation, feedback and follow-up) according to the timeline and actions proposed.
