Europe's First Commercial Robotaxi Service by Verne

operational

Verne has launched Europe's first commercial robotaxi service in Zagreb, Croatia. The service uses electric vehicles equipped with Pony.ai's seventh-generation autonomous driving system. Initially, trained autonomous vehicle operators will be onboard during the early phase. The service will expand coverage across Zagreb and will soon be available through the Uber app. Verne plans to transition to fully driverless operations subject to regulatory approvals and safety standards. The company is also in discussions with other cities across the EU, UK, and Middle East for expansion and plans to deploy a purpose-built two-seat autonomous robotaxi in the future.
