Through provision of railway rolling stock, Eurosib-Ivest CJSC and its subsidiaries Eurosib SPb - Transportation Systems CJSC and ERVK CJSC (collectively, Eurosibtrans or the goup), based in Saint Petersburg, offers transportation and logistics services to shippers of coal, steel, fertilizers, paper, lumber and other products within Russia and the former Soviet Union. With extensive rail transport operations throughout Western Russia, Eurosibtrans’ main business is the operation of owned and leased rolling stock for the transportation of bulk goods mainly in the North-Western Region of Russia and the provision of freight forwarding and logistics services. The IFC loans of up to $30 million would finance a part of Eurosibtrans’ investment program comprising the acquisition of railway freight wagons in 2004 - 2006.
