The aim of the National Unit Serbia is to contribute to improved mutual understanding of education systems in Europe by producing country specific information, comparable country descriptions, indicators and data for the comparative studies in the field of education and training based on the updated policy information on the national level. The central role of the Eurydice Network is to support evidence-based European cooperation in the field of education by providing European-level analyses and information on education policies as a support to the decision-making processes. More specifically, in the context of the framework provide by network, the National Unit Serbia aims to: • proactively contribute to scoping individual activities to ensure their relevance for national policy making, research and cooperation between relevant stakeholders; • provide the central Eurydice Unit in the Executive Agency with different types of information and sources relevant for national education policy framework, such as qualitative and normative information and data based on the official documents, such as laws, decrees, regulations and recommendations; but also quantitative and statistical data • promote Eurydice results, materials and events at national level in accordance with the communication strategy.
