The Eurydice Network’s mission is to support the European Commission's policy actions and facilitating cooperation in education at the EU level by providing evidence-based European-level analyses and comparisons. The Network contributes towards a better mutual understanding of education systems in Europe and the outputs also serve for the decision-making processes in the field of education and training at a national level in the countries participating in the Network. The Network’s aim is to gather exhaustive national information that enable producing specific information, comparable country descriptions, indicators and high-quality reports. In the context of this framework, the National Unit CZECH REPUBLIC aims to: • participate in the Eurydice Network’s activities, providing the EACEA.A6 with the information and data on the national education system, necessary for the comparison between countries; the information is essentially normative and qualitative-based, relating to official documents, such as laws, decrees, regulations and recommendations; • pro-actively contribute to scoping individual activities to ensure their relevance also for national policy-making; • promote Eurydice products at a national level, by formulating a communication strategy and an implementing plan.
