The organisation applying on behalf of the National Working Group for EU Youth Dialogue in Sweden is LSU – Landsrådet för Sveriges Ungdomsorganisationer, the National Council of Swedish Youth Organisations. LSU is the National Youth Council of Sweden, with 86 independent and democratic youth organisations as members. LSU is a full member of the European Youth Forum. The aim of the Swedish national working group is to increase youth’s knowledge and awareness of the EU in Sweden and bridge the gap between youths and decision-makers For the project year 2021 we will focus on digital dissemination of information about EU Youth Dialogue through podcast, events and social media. Together with the national agency manage local democratic workshops and capacity-build youth representatives. The objectives for this project period are: - Increase the outreach of the EU Youth Dialogue to diverse groups of young people and national decision-makers/agencies that affect youth’s everyday lives. Our outreach methods will be the podcast and democracy workshops. - Direct advocacy towards relevant departments by maintaining and strengthening the relationships within the national working group. Our objectives are influenced by following overall objectives for EU youth dialogue: a) encourage youth's participation c) including diverse voices and openness in democratic life and contribute to policy-shaping d) bringing about positive change in youth policy at local, regional, national and European level. The project is divided in three working packages: 1) Project management and coordination 2) dissemination and implementation and 3) capacity building. Our outcomes for the project is to strenghten relationship with national and local decision makers and civil society (WP1) , increase awareness of EU and youth policy on local and national level (WP2) , better cooperation within the national working group and interesting actors (WP2) and give support to youth representatives (WP3).
