Evermos (“Evermos” or “the company”) (https://evermos.com/) is an Indonesian social commerce platform that connects brand principals (mainly small and medium enterprise (SME) manufacturers) to end consumers via resellers. The proposed IFC investment (the “project”) is an equity investment for up to US$5 million from IFC’s own account and US$16 million through mobilization.The company’s online commerce platform includes the following categories of products: home living & family, apparel & beauty, health & herbal, prayer equipment and others. Evermos does not hold inventory itself and does not have physical stores or manufacture any products. Products are shipped from the brand principals to resellers or end customers accordingly. However, to lower logistics costs, Evermos currently rents one warehouse to store selected fast-moving products, on a consignment basis (and does not own the products). Evermos does not undertake transport and distribution itself, instead all transportation is by third party logistics providers.
