Description | EVgo has deployed more than 40% of its new US fast-charging stations in 2025 using domestically manufactured prefabricated charging skids. This modular approach reduces installation times and average station costs by around 15%, supporting faster network expansion. The prefabricated skids are assembled by Miller Electric Company in Jacksonville, Florida, and include major charging components on a single base frame made from American steel and aluminium. The stations are equipped with 350 kW DC fast chargers and can charge up to 14 vehicles simultaneously. Prefabricated stations are operational in several US states with more sites under development. |
