"The ""EvropaMy"" project aims to innovate the curriculum at the Škoda Auto Vocational School, focusing on increasing students' awareness of the European Union and its values. Activities include seminars on diversity and inclusion, comparing the economic development of EU member states, project days focused on European countries, the ""Students to Students"" project, a literary competition on the EU, excursions to the House of Foreign Cooperation, debates on European topics, working with documentary films, and more. Selected students will have the opportunity to go on an excursion to Brussels and visit EU institutions, such as the European Parliament. Main Goal: • Increase students' awareness and knowledge of the European Union, its functioning, history, and cultural diversity through innovation, enhancement, and expansion of the curriculum. Sub-goals: 1. Expansion of EU-related education at our school: o Description: This goal focuses on integrating EU-related topics into the existing curriculum at our school. This includes incorporating EU topics into subjects such as Civic Education, English, History, and Economics. Activities will include seminars, project days, and excursions that provide students with a deeper understanding of the functioning, history, and cultural diversity of the EU. 2. Innovation and enhancement of EU-related education: o Description: This goal aims to introduce innovative and attractive teaching methods that increase students' interest in EU-related topics. This includes the use of digital technologies, interactive seminars, project days focused on specific European countries, and the ""Students to Students"" project, where older students share their knowledge with younger students. Additionally, excursions to the House of Foreign Cooperation and visits to EU institutions in Brussels will be included. Activities will also cover engaging topics such as working with disinformation, AI, and digitalization."
