This project aims to modernise teaching about the European Union, focusing on its institutions, the integration of the Baltic States and financial literacy related to the euro. EU topics will be systematically integrated into subjects such as history, geography, basic social sciences, computing, art and foreign languages, emphasising their interconnectedness. Teaching will be enriched with interactive methods, including virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR), WebQuests and research-oriented learning, which will enable students to actively participate in the learning process. In addition to the modernisation of teaching, the project includes project days, expert lectures and study trips to EU institutions, which will give students first-hand experience of the functioning of European structures and broaden their awareness of European integration. The project aims to update lessons, promote interdisciplinary learning and improve teaching methods to raise students' awareness of the functioning of the EU, encourage critical thinking, develop digital competences and enable them to better navigate the European space. The project outputs will include updated educational materials, interactive online tools, methodologies for teachers and publicly available outputs to share with other schools. The updated teaching will be integrated into the school curriculum in the long term, ensuring the sustainability of the project's impact.
