Ewoyaa Lithium Project Mining Lease Ratification

planned

The Ewoyaa Lithium Project in Ghana is advancing through parliamentary ratification of its mining lease, a critical step for Atlantic Lithium to proceed with financing, construction, and production. The project aims to become one of the world's lowest-cost hard-rock spodumene concentrate producers, contributing to the global lithium supply chain, particularly for electric vehicle batteries. The ratification process includes legislative review, renegotiation of lease terms due to lithium price fluctuations, and securing environmental and operating permits. Production is targeted to start by late 2027 or 2028 following construction.
