The aim of the project was to contribute to the improvement of the general economic situation of the border region through the utilisation of the assets and tourism opportunities offered by the Nature Park, to enable the organisations possessing this asset to exploit the economic and cultural possibilities offered by the natural environment, thus to reduce the economic lag on both sides of the border. The funding helped the creation of an economic and institutional environment that will lead to an increase in the number of competitive businesses making use of the tourism opportunities, it will also support the development of existing businesses, and thus the overall effect will be the improvement of the employment rate.
