Description | The manufacturing of the fully-integrated battery energy storage system (BESS) called Exeron (X-BESS) by Bulgaria-based International Power Supply (IPS) was officially awarded a strategic project status under the Net-Zero Industry Act Regulation (EU). The project aims to boost the production capacity of net-zero technologies within the European Union. IPS is scaling up its production capacity to 3 GWh this year with plans to expand further and offer products in the Middle East and parts of Africa. The project includes launching an automated production line with 1.5 GWh annual capacity near Sofia, Bulgaria, and plans to install a second production line to reach 3 GWh per year by September. The latest innovation, EXERON X-BESS 8, delivers up to 8.1 MWh capacity with integrated 4-MW inverter and modular thermal management system, designed for easier transport and installation. |
