The project includes building new equalization tanks with a total capacity of 3 million gallons and demolishing outdated parts of the plant. The tanks will act as a buffer to store wastewater during high flow or pollutant levels and release it at a controlled rate to ensure full treatment before discharge. The tanks are expected to go into service by the end of 2027. |
