Description | The Exit 16 diverging diamond interchange project in Colchester and on I-89 reduces U.S. 2/7 northbound to a single lane near the I-89 southbound on-ramp on Sunday night from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Lane reductions are planned for U.S. 2/7 and south of Rathe Road from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Intermittent blasting is expected to cause 10-minute stoppages on U.S. 2/7 and nearby roads during weekday daylight hours. Shoulder closures on the I-89 southbound on-ramp are also planned. The project is expected to finish by summer 2027. |
