Description

Description

The proposed investment consists of an eight-year senior loan of up to MXN850 million (~US$47 million equivalent) in up to two commitments for IFC’s own account to a special purpose vehicle (the Trust) following an asset-backed lending structure, collateralized by eligible loans originated by Exitus Credit S.A.P.I. de C.V., SOFOM, E.N.R. (“Exitus Credit”) and Desarrolladora e Impulsora de Negocios S.A.P.I. de C.V., SOFOM, E.N.R. (“CrediConfía”) (together, the Companies). The Trust is expected to obtain financing for up to MXN3,200 million (~US$178 million equivalent), in the form of parallel loans from HSBC México S.A., Institución de Banca Múltiple, Grupo Financiero HSBC, and other financial institutions (the Project). The collection rights of securitized pensioner loans originated and serviced by the Companies are expected to be the only repayment source of the Project. It is expected that at least 50% of IFC’s investment will support the Companies’ lending operations to women pensioners.
