One of the problems identified in the pre-study that you want to focus on in the main project is the difficulty for young people to have internships or skills-enhancing interventions across the border. The preliminary study showed that there is a great need for labour in the trade and service industry in Sweden and the corresponding needs of the wood industry in Norway, and that internship is often the way to a job, not least for young people who are a little further away from the labour market. In addition, they want to work on the problem of low entrepreneurship among young people in Norway. An Interreg project addressed to the above problem pictures would be positive for municipalities on both sides of the border, for the trade and service industries and for the wood industry, and not least for the young project to work with. Civilisation and Vilja AS have outlined two orientations in the project in accordance with the results of the pre-study interviews, workshops and study visits: Preparation for young people to work on both sides of the border through education and internships and Borderless young entrepreneurship through an entrepreneurial program.
