This project supports the EU4H-2024-DGA-MS-IBA-01 call by advancing Cyprus’s integration into MyHealth@EU to enable patients’ access to essential services and expand the scope of offerings. It focuses on enhancing cross-border healthcare delivery through the National Contact Point for eHealth (NCPeH), enabling secure exchange of ePrescriptions, Patient Summaries, and advanced functionalities like laboratory results, medical imaging, and discharge reports. These enhancements align with the goals of the European Health Data Space (EHDS) and contribute to interoperability, data privacy, and improved healthcare outcomes across Europe. The MyHealth@CY platform empowers citizens by providing seamless access to their health data, fostering transparency and autonomy. It incorporates optional fields and metadata in Patient Summary and ePrescription services, enhancing personalization, clinical decision-making, and future service readiness. The project also supports preparatory activities and a robust monitoring framework to ensure compliance with EHDS standards and track progress through measurable KPIs. Key objectives include: Establishing NCPeH for secure core services (ePrescription, Patient Summary). Expanding services to include laboratory results, medical imaging, and discharge reports. Enhancing metadata usage for advanced functionalities. Aligning with EHDS standards to ensure compliance and trust. Disseminating outcomes to reach 100,000 citizens and stakeholders.
