Expanding Theatre Landscapes

ended

Expanding Theatre Landscapes aims at the circulation of cultural and creative works and methodologies through the internationalisation of the careers of playwrights, dramaturgs, literary managers, theatre theoreticians, directors, actors, producers and other stage artists from the Western Balkans and EU Member States. More specifically, in “Expanding Theatre Landscapes“ five playwrights are asked to adopt an innovative approach in the rewriting of a classic of their own country and to bring to their colleagues in the other participant countries (playwrights, directors, actors) their background, methodologies and some of the inclusive elements of their culture- alongside their chosen directors. Each playwright is asked to choose a classic or past work of her/his tradition showing inclusive traits, particularly in connection with gender equality.
