Expansion of O Sommet for the Creation of a Community Kitchen

The Club Parentaide Beauce-Centre is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the optimal development of the family, in particular by offering numerous community programs, collective kitchens, a food counter as well as several activities and events for families in the MRC Robert-Cliche. The objectives of the project are to extend and improve training and food processing services in a community where the food supply is limited, in particular by selling and distributing prepared meals accessible in the community. The main eligible works are defined as follows: • expansion of the O Sommet building; • creation of a community kitchen; and • development of a reception area with a distribution counter for prepared meals. This project will allow the population of the MRC Robert-Cliche improved food security as defined by the United Nations Committee on World Food Security.
