The scope of this project includes the excavation of the existing road, base materials and rock excavation, where required, to expand and extend the existing storm sewer system in the Village of Lyn. The existing stormsewer system is inadequately sized and overflows in minor storm events, causing flooding and erosion damage to the roadway and private property. New stormsewer piping and maintenance structures will be installed along the south of the roadway to capture stormwater that is currently overflowing the roadway, causing flooding and erosion damage to nearby private properties. The eligible costs are limited to public/municipal property and assets.
