Description	As part of the further development of the West African Power Grid (WAPP), a high-voltage line is to be built or expanded from Nigeria via Benin, Togo and Ghana to the Ivory Coast. As part of this cross-border project, a FC-financed substation is to be built in Togo. The project sponsor is the binational Communauté Electrique du Bénin (CEB), based in Lomé, which is responsible for energy supply in both Togo and Benin. The measure is being implemented in close cooperation with the WAPP. The total cost of the measure is up to EUR 18 million. The measure is to be financed by an FC grant of EUR 17.5 million.
