Description | The project seeks to expand its capacity to produce polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes which are used as insulators when electrifying houses. With the increase in the demand for affordable housing within Zambia and neighbouring countries, there has also been an increase in the electrification of households by being connected to the national grid. Additionally, as Zambia is undergoing massive infrastructural development, demand for PVC pipes used in electrical insulation has also been on the rise. The investment is expected to be in form of finance, modern technology and machinery and market linkages. The site for this project is in Chikankata, Mazabuka where the current company factory stands. |
