The project includes creating digital twins of the National Airspace System using 20+ years of data for predictive analytics to optimize schedules and traffic flow. The FAA plans to build customized AI software and a centralized automation platform to enhance training and safety. The project is currently unfunded but underway with industry engagement and partnerships with 52 vendors, including prime integrator Peraton. |
