The Fabian&Fred animation slate consists of one feature film, two series and an additional short film of an emerging talent. Each project is very different in nature, be it in terms of genre, animation technique & style, target audience and co-production structure. What they have in common is that they are made by debut filmmakers. All filmmakers have won awards at numerous festivals worldwide and have even qualified for the Oscars with their short films; up-and-coming talent Jan Gadermann even won the Student Oscar with his graduation film. All projects reflect Fabian&Fred's approach of supporting emerging talent through the production of short films and continuing the collaboration on their next projects. The projects also reflect the focus on different forms and stories in animation and the impact Fabian&Fred wants to make with their projects on humanistic values and global issues for audiences of all ages.
