The project entails the implementation of sewage treatment plants in 155 villages in Fangshan District of China. The plants are divided into three categories (unbuilt station villages, established station villages, and number of single households), involving a total of 134 sewage treatment stations. The sewage treatment scale of the project is 17,850 m3/d. The implementation agency is Beijing Fangshan District Water Bureau. Sponsors are Beijing Jinhe Water Construction Group Co., Ltd., Huahang Environmental Development Co., Ltd. and Beijing China United Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. The period of the BOT concession is 25 years, including a construction period of 3 years. The investment is 322,644,100 yuan (USD45.56 million). Financial close was achieved on 30 June 2020.
