Description

Description

The project involves the refurbishment of Faraday House at the University of Salford, transforming the currently vacant building on Chapel Street in Salford into around 3,500 square metres of modern, flexible workspace primarily for the university’s professional services teams. Rather than demolishing the structure, the plans focus on upgrading and repurposing the existing building to create high-quality office accommodation with improved sustainability features, enhanced accessibility, cycle storage, and better integration with surrounding public spaces. The scheme forms part of the wider £2.5 billion (US$3.37 billion) Crescent Masterplan, a major regeneration programme delivered in partnership with Salford City Council and English Cities Fund, aimed at revitalising the Crescent area and modernising university and city infrastructure.
