Description | US clean energy infrastructure fund Excelsior Energy Capital has brought live its 685.3-MWdc/525-MWac Faraday Solar project in Utah, one of the largest utility-scale solar developments in the US. The project started commercial operations on September 30, 2025, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony planned for November 5, 2025. The project has a 20-year power purchase agreement with PacifiCorp under Rocky Mountain Power's Schedule 34 green energy tariff, with Meta buying the solar project's energy and environmental attributes. Excelsior acquired the project in 2023 and closed a financing package later that year. Construction involved 1.2 million solar panels and took just under two years, with collaboration from Energy Project Solutions (EPS) and RES Group during construction and commissioning phases. |
