Fauquier Water Treatment Plant Upgrades

To best define the proposed solution to eliminate the future health problems a water treatment plant study will be conducted that will identify the source of the THMs; provide possible optimization and modifications to the existing process and review the various alternative treatment techniques. Based on the knowledge of the existing system, the existing water treatment units ( two Waterboy Treatment packages) are approaching the end of their life cycle and installing a modernized package plant would be required. To install new treatment units will require upgrades to the existing process piping, extension on the building and revised yard piping; upgrades to instrumentation and controls, updated electrical, heating, ventilation and plumbing. The existing treatment units would also need to be decommissioned and disposed of.
