Description
Description | Berlinale-awarded Favoriten by acclaimed Austrian director Ruth Beckermann is a heart-warming and relevant feature documentary following an ambitious primary school teacher and her class over three years. Tackling the topics of education and integration, the film invites broad audiences to a conversation on eye-level with the children, representing the diverse faces of Europe with humor and heart. For Films on the Move, Autlook Filmsales is coordinating the pan-European theatrical, digital and educational release along with 11 distribution partners, covering 11 territories of different audio-visual capacities. The grouping consists of experienced distributors with strong track records of releasing arthouse films and feature documentaries. Supported by an international release strategy and marketing concept, our aim is to reach clear target audiences across the continent and globally, with actions planned to reach new and overlooked audiences. With a sound focus on diversity and inclusion in the project, the project features unique qualities ensuring high visibility for the film, with the objectives to strengthen and develop industry relationships as well as the European arthouse and documentary film culture. Additional global footprint is secured through concrete interest from theatrical distribution partners outside the European grouping as well as festivals, digital releases, exploitation of educational and ancillary rights and broadcast sales. |
