Provision of a sovereign loan of up to €30 million to Bosnia and Herzegovina ("BiH" or the "Borrower"), for the benefit of the Ministry of Spatial Planning of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina ("FBIH") (the "Client" or the "Ministry"), to implement energy efficiency measures in up to 53 public buildings owned by the FBIH (the "Project"). The loan will be split into two tranches: tranche 1 of up to €10 million ("Tranche 1") and tranche 2 of up to €20 million ("Tranche 2") and will finance energy efficiency investments including outer walls insulation, new glazing, roof insulation, energy efficient lighting, fuel switch (coal and heavy fuel oil replacement as a must), etc. aiming to reduce energy consumption for each building by 30 per cent to 60 percent. In addition, the Project is expected to result in replacement of outdated infrastructure, reduction of negative impact on the environment and improvement of comfort and quality of services in the public buildings.
