F.E. Everett Turnpike Merrimack Overpasses Replacement and Widening

The project involves replacing bridges over the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Merrimack, New Hampshire, between Exits 11 and 12. New longer bridges will be constructed parallel to the existing ones to accommodate three lanes in both directions underneath. The project is part of a long-term effort to widen the F.E. Everett Turnpike from two to three lanes to relieve traffic congestion. Temporary lane closures on Baboosic Lake Road and Wire Road are expected during construction. The Wire Road bridge will be removed, and the Baboosic Lake Road bridge will be replaced on its current alignment with a temporary bridge to transfer traffic during construction. The project includes moving utilities, drainage, and erosion control, with completion scheduled for fall 2028.
