F.E. Everett Turnpike Merrimack Overpasses Replacement

This project involves replacing bridges over the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Merrimack between Exits 11 and 12. The new bridges will be longer and wide enough to fit three lanes in both directions underneath, as part of a long-term effort to widen the turnpike from two to three lanes to relieve traffic congestion. The Wire Road bridge will be removed and the Baboosic Lake Road bridge will be replaced on its current alignment with a temporary bridge used during construction. The project includes tree clearing, utility relocation, drainage and erosion control, and is scheduled for completion in fall 2028.
