Description

Description

FEANTSAs work programme for 2026 consists of 8 work packages. WP1 concerns governance & management, & guarantees timely, high-quality & efficient implementation of the SGA. WP2 concerns research. FEANTSA will continue to publish the latest & most relevant research findings in its European Journal on Homelessness & gather 200+ researchers at our annual research conference where ongoing & recent research will be presented & discussed. Our Observatory will continue to promote evidence-based policy & practice. WP3 includes FEANTSA's work on housing. We will focus our advocacy on the new EU Affordable Housing Plan & Investment Platform & try to secure proper coverage of homelessness. Through 3 learning platforms, we will further promote Housing First as an effective approach to chronic homelessness (HF Hub), inject creativity & innovation in the supply of affordable housing for marginalised populations (Housing Solutions Platform), & ensure compliance with the right to housing (Housing Rights Watch). WP4&5 include our mutual learning & advocacy work on different key aspects of homelessness such as migration, gender equality, health & discrimination. We will organise exchanges, publish learning tools & mainstream homelessness in the relevant EU actions. It also includes our annual Forum – the only annual European event on homelessness in which 300+ practioners & policy makers exchange experiences & network. WP 6 concerns our contribution to EPOCH. We will participate in all relevant activities, encourage our members to be actively involved & partner up with the EU Commission to further develop EPOCH. WP7 is our annual overview of housing exclusion report with in-depth analysis of latest homelessness data which we will feed into the Semester process. WP8 includes all communication tools to inform a wide audience about our work including websites and newsletters. The SGA should keep homelessness high on the EU agenda & ensure visible policy &services progress.
