Description
Description | FEBEA's proposal aims at boosting the capacity of Social Enterprise Finance providers in Europe for a strong social investment market. The action aims at strengthening and expand the activities and services offered to FEBEA social finance practitioners members. Research activities will monitor and inform on the recent trends in the social finance market; regular and reliable data collection on Social Finance to generate the basis to track its evolution among Ethical banks and set up the academic framework; tailored training and capacity building services will support practitioners in improving and expanding their social finance offer and equip them for advocacy purpose; the Policy activity will inform social finance and social economy practitioners of relevant EU policies and inform the EU on their needs and concerns ; partnerships will be strengthened with relevant stakeholders at EU, national and local levels - including social economy networks and policy makers; collaboration among FEBEA members will be further fostered via dedicated activities and tools to share knowledge and resources for the development and improvement of financing tools dedicated to the social economy sector; communication activities will address practitioners, civil society organisations and citizens on the add-value of social finance tools and their role for local development. This will entail consolidation of reinforcement process of FEBEA's structure to ensure high quality services to its members and develop fruitful collaborations with stakeholders. The expected impact is the improvement and increase of tailored financial and non financial support for the social economy market in Europe. FEBEA members, given their unique approach towards community development and their focus on social and environmental criteria are ideally placed to act as a multiplier of EU policies and tools directed at the development of a social finance market in Europe, to foster a green, just and inclusive growth. |
