Description | The project contributes to the implementation of PCI 13.2: Aramis – cross-border CO2 transport and storage project, intake from emitters in the hinterland of the Rotterdam harbour area, pipe transport to storage on the Dutch continental shelf. The project aims to carry out the technical studies for both the CO2 network and CO2 terminal in the Grand Ouest area in France, as well as procurement and contracting preparations, permitting and socio-economic assessments. The project’s scope covers: • FEED CO2 network: technical studies for the pipeline network, cost evaluation, procurement documentation, as well as the safety study and the IT study; • FEED CO2 terminal: technical studies for the terminal (terminal installations and power supply), cost evaluation, procurement documentation, as well as the safety study and the integration study regarding the existing infrastructure; • Permitting: Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), public debate, public acceptance measures and other relevant documents necessary for permitting; • Socio-economic assessment: a Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA), financing and business plans. The project will be carried out by internal and external resources. The project’s deliverables are as follow: • FEED CO2 network complete; • FEED CO2 terminal complete; • Permit application CO2 network submitted; • Permit application CO2 terminal submitted; • Financing strategy prepared. Once the project is completed, the French part of the PCI will be ready to get administrative authorizations. |
