Feijao Wind Farm

This project involves the construction of Feijao Wind Farm, located both in state of Piaui and state of Pernambuco, Brazil. The planned generated capacity of the Feijao wind farm is 456 MW. The sponsors for this initiative are Macquarie's Green Investment Group (GIG) and Norsk Hydro's subsidiary Hydro Rein. The Green Investment Group holds 50.1% while Hydro Rein has 49.9% of the joint venture. The Feijao wind farm will consists of 80 turbines model N163 of 5.7MW each, supplied by Nordex Group. The total project cost is $670m, the total debt financing is $346m, of which $290m are provided with a loan from Santander Brazil, Santander Spain, BNP Paribas, Citibank Brazil, Citibank New York, HSBC, JPMorgan Chase Bank, Natixis and Societe Generale. The credit agreement was signed on March 30th, 2023.
