The project involves the investment, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of Fengcheng Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Power Plant in Fengcheng, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province of China. The total capacity of the project is 1,200 tons per day (438,000 tons per year). The first phase of the project is designed to handle 800 tons per day (292,000 tons per year), while the second phase of the project will handle 400 tons per day (146,000 tons per year). The sponsor's name is not disclosed. The Fengcheng City People's Government authorized the Fengcheng City Administration Bureau as the project implementing agency. The project cost amounts to CNY 451.25 million or $ 65.6 million. The project is structured under BOT model for a concession period of 30 years. The return mechanism is feasibility gap subsidy. Financial close was reached on 24 July 2019.
