The proposed project will provide the Fenglin Group Corporation (“Fenglin”, the “Group” or the “Company”) with a loan for working capital and CAPEX for the Company’s recently built fiberboard plants. The Company is headquartered in Nanning, Guangxi Autonomous Province. The Company operates four medium density fiberboard (MDF) plants in Guangxi and one particle board plant (PB) in Huizhou, Guangdong. Wood-based panels manufactured from residual wood fiber from plywood and lumber mills and low value forest thinnings (e.g. thinnings, branches, side cuts, sawdust). Although the Group manages about 15,000 hectares of timberland in Guangxi, wood supply costs mean that it rarely, if ever, uses its own round wood for panel feedstock.
