The Ferguson Lake project involves the development of a low-cost, low-carbon footprint mine to produce market-ready battery-grade nickel and cobalt compounds, copper, and PGE metals. The project includes evaluation of multiple metal processing technologies such as bioleaching and flotation tests. The bioleaching process has shown high extraction rates of metals at low temperatures, with a self-sustaining system that simplifies metallurgical processes and reduces energy consumption. Environmental sampling, analysis, and baseline studies are ongoing, along with engagement with local governments and Indigenous communities for permits and licenses.
