The Ferguson Lake project is a mining development focused on producing market-ready battery-grade nickel and cobalt compounds, copper, and PGE metals from a low-cost, low-carbon footprint mine. The project involves evaluation of multiple metal processing technologies including bioleaching and flotation tests. The bioleaching process has shown high extraction rates of metals at low temperatures with a self-sustaining system that simplifies metallurgical processes and reduces energy consumption. The project includes environmental baseline studies, updating permits and licenses, and engagement with local governments and Indigenous communities.
