The project plans to deploy advanced clean new nuclear generation, including AP1000 reactor design, to provide six gigawatts of clean energy as part of an 11-gigawatt total clean energy capacity. The project has filed a Combined License application with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, with construction scheduled to begin promptly after approval and initial power generation planned by 2032. |
